For this summer I was an intern in PanamaSTEM an extracurricular learning center for STEMs located in the City of Knowledge in Panama City.
I was working teaching kids (5-9 years old) and teens (10-17 years old) robotics with Lego, programming, how to write an script, video shooting and video editing, and science. Besides working in the center, I also worked with FundeSTEAM (STEAM Organization) with elementary schools training teachers on how to incorporate robotics and technology into their classes.
Panama is a little behind in Science and Technology, but I believe that the U of A has given me the tools to help my country’s children to grow and get more opportunities.
